Rowan Softyak combines the softness of cashmere but without the cashmere price tag plus it has added durability and wearability. It knits up beautifully and gives lovely stitch definition. The blend of cotton and yak hair gives a pretty melange effect as the yak is a dark fibre and absorbs the colour differently to the cotton.
The yarn is supported by a fantastic design book with 12 designs for women from Marie Wallin.
