Viridian Schafpate 4 ply sock yarn is in collaboration with Opal. Viridian, the Opal distributor based in Bristol, have sponsored four of these rare breed sheep from Germany.
Schafpate literally translated means "Sheep Godfather" and the sheep have been named after members of Viridian's owner - Thelma, Kim, Hannah and Sunny. The shades they have chosen are based on some of the most popular shades ever produced.
One ball will knit a pair of socks up to about a size 10 adult.
