Designer Yarns Bolero is a scarf in a ball. A simple lacy ribbon design yarn that opens out to give a wider lacy tape that you knit 'into' by using the edge row of the lacy tape at the opposite side from the pom poms. You can use virtually any size needle as the tension is not made by needle size it is the size of holes in the ribbon that forms the size of the work. I find that a 6mm needle works well although the ball band suggests 8-9mm.

Bolero has a beautiful edging of mini pom poms which give it a lovely texture and the variagation on colour also adds interest.
